Jeff Haydock, President & CEO

Education: B.A., Dual Finance and Economics

Jeff founded ecoCFO in May 2013 to provide CFO services exclusively to energy and environmental companies and projects. As acting CFO for client companies, Jeff oversees all aspects of financial management and integrates into the existing management team to contribute to topics related to finance, accounting, operations, and strategic planning.

Jeff handles financial reporting to management teams, boards, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders. He routinely participates in contract negotiations, budgeting and cash flow forecasting, capital raising, business plan review, financial modeling, and planning and analysis. He also runs the Return on Solar asset management program by ecoCFO.

In the past, Jeff has built and managed a solar design and installation business; financed, operated and maintained solar assets; worked in corporate finance and accounting for a water and wastewater treatment contractor, and co-founded a water treatment technology business.

He has also volunteered in organizations such as Cleantech Open, Environmental Business Council of New England, and the New Hampshire Sustainable Energy Association. Additionally, Jeff has been published in Inc., Harvard Business Review, and several other publications.

Amy Lyons, CPA, Financial Services Controller

Education: B.A., Accounting, Boston College Carroll School of Management

As a Financial Services Controller, Amy is the day-to-day finance and accounting lead for ecoCFO clients. She is responsible for billing and AR, AP, payroll, financial and management reporting, budget reviews, and month-end close, among many other items. Additionally, she oversees bookkeeping and works in tandem with HR, banking, insurance, and other partners or professional service providers.

Amy has over 20 years of experience, having started her career in public accounting where she was responsible for auditing, reviewing, and preparing financial statements for clients in a wide variety of industries. During this time she earned her CPA certification.    

She then held various roles at United Asset Management, a public company, where she was responsible for the preparation of external consolidated reports, including 10K and 10Q filings.  

Most recently, Amy spent 8 years as a Financial Operations Manager, providing controller services and leading an experienced accounting team for an outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firm.

Amy currently lives in Westwood, MA with her husband and two children and enjoys reading, traveling with her family, and volunteering in her community.

David Citarelli, CPA, Financial Services Controller

David has 13 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer. He has worked as the controller for a solar EPC contractor and a CFO of a New-England based energy company. He has significant experience as a CFO and controller for construction companies and has participated as the controller during an IPO.

As a Financial Services Controller at ecoCFO, David is the day-to-day finance and accounting lead for some of our cleantech clients. He has over 20 years of experience, having started his career in public accounting. His expertise lies in GAAP accounting, ERP implementation, M&A analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and HR benefits. He has a B.S. from Bentley University in Economics Finance.

David lives in Amherst, NH, with his wife of 34 years and youngest daughter. David was a volunteer for the Amherst School District Ways & Means Committee for eight years, serving as chairman for three years. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time with his first grandchild.

Angel Dyer, Financial Services Controller

Education: B.S., Accounting, Franklin Pierce University,
Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Boston University INML Program

Angel spent 10 years as a Chief Financial Officer, leading an experienced accounting team and managing all administrative functions for a non-profit based in Massachusetts. She was responsible for maintaining compliance with State and Federal funding regulations, directed the budgeting and financial planning of the agency, prepared and presented financial reporting to the Board of Directors, and oversaw annual audit and preparation of the UFR.

In addition to the Finance Department, Angel also managed Contracting, Fundraising and Development, Information Technologies, Human Resources, Office and Facility Administration, and Volunteer Programs. She also received a certificate in nonprofit management and leadership from Boston University INML program.

Angel currently lives in Hampton, NH with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys traveling with her family and spending time at the beach.

Brandon Spera, CPA, Financial Services Associate

Education: M.S. in Accounting, B.S. in Accounting, B.S. in Finance, University of New Hampshire Paul College.

As a Financial Services Associate, Brandon assists ecoCFO clients in corporate finance, accounting, and compliance. He is heavily involved in and proficient with financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, budgeting and variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, audit and tax support with external CPAs, billing, AP management, and payroll and benefits administration. Brandon also supports contract review, and compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.

Additionally, Brandon facilitates ecoCFO’s Return on Solar asset management program, where he tracks and monitors the client portfolio of solar projects. He analyzes and helps to manage client SREC portfolios, and produces generation reports for invoicing. He also processes compliance reports for state agencies, utilities, and RPS programs.

Brandon joined ecoCFO from a public accounting firm, after earning his CPA license while providing audit and tax-related services to for-profit and not for profit clientele.

Brandon currently lives in Portland, ME, and enjoys spending his free time outdoors; rock climbing, trail running, and canoeing in the mountains and lakes of northern New England.
